Artist History
Michael Dawson and Rick Montpetit, working with various drummers, were the creative force behind the band "SLED", a popular trio from the Minneapolis music scene from 95' to 98'.
During that time the songwriting duo, along with engineer Sean Johnson, recorded and produced three full-length Discs, earning them a wide fan base and radio air-play locally. In 1997 they published the song "Die Alone", under their own "Below Zero Music" (Ascap), that appears in the movie "Mixed Signals", starring Brooke Langton and Jason London, which premiered on Cinemax in March of 1999
Over the past year the two have been living in Los Angeles writing material for the next project where they were discovered by Ruben Moreno and brought to the attention of Bembry Entertainment. They will be returning to Minneapolis to record and perform this summer. In the meantime, as an introduction to the world, B.E.G. is proud to bring this duo to you via MP3. The best from their previous projects that we're sure Rock fans around the world will enjoy.
Watch for their new release this fall. They're trying some new things and it promises to be Sparkle and Dawson's best music yet!
