Artist description
Raised in the church, we bought our first Corvair
in the summer of 1982. That's when it all started
to go bad. There was a war and Peter's hair was
removed, incidentally, and without effect. |

Artist History
Formed in the summer of '82, Arrogant Flash was
a true meeting of the minds. Jesse and Kevin's
minds were busy dreaming up political stage
musicals (including the first musical based on
Mao's "Sayings"), and Peter didn't mind. He was
living alone, in sin, one thin wall away from the
late great stage director Mel Cox. Peter met Kevin
and Jesse at an anger management support seminar
and was immediately smitten with their efforts to
spread Marxist rhetoric through musical stage
comedy. He introduced them to Cox, and while
nothing really developed from the meeting, they
did have a wonderful lunch, and nobody was
offended.
Flash and Sprankle (the band's primary songwriters)
are currently working on three stage musicals...
"King Kregg Meets The Naughty Ninjas" (the story
of a boy and his troublesome, wayward feline. The
first ninja musical), "Where's My Hat?" (an
elderly couple get lost and wander aimlessly on a
small stage for two hours and fifteen minutes),
and "Thanks For The Tapeworm, God" (the story of
a boy and his tapeworm. The first boy/tapeworm
musical).
