Artist description Karlenz Stockhausen described the experience of electronic music to be one of tuning into individual sound events rather than into their constitutive patterns. As an artist I strive to take into account individual sound events as well as the overlying form which allows for a sense of progression.

Artist History Sonic Painter studied piano for 15 years at the University of Texas at Arlington,the University of Oklahoma, and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He has studied MIDI sequencing at BTWHSPVA and currently studies with Dr. Faulconer at OU.
