Artist description
SIFIR thinks that music is hysteria, if the latter should be understood as an "escape from the body" (G. Deleuze's description). This atmosphere of hysteria is mostly created by samples which are collected from various psychotic moments. If the rhythm is the base of music, then how is it possible to escape from this base without leaving it behind? Is it possible to make music which escapes from what is music? Don't misunderstand! SIFIR is both experimental and listenable, that is danceable, if you accept that you want to escape your body. |
