Artist History The band band was formed by founding members Lesli and Oskar back in september 1992. They called themselves Kerberos.After a couple of demo recordings, they eventually got discovered as a potent young band in the progressive rock genre.As the demand grew on their self-financed EP "Barbeque At Alderaan" , they were offered to release it , by the recordstore/recordlabel Mellotronen.Buy now there had been six hundred cd's made so far (incl. the mellotronen release). Kerberos breakthrough came in the late 1996 when they released "Barbeque At Alderaan" in Tokyo under the Shinseido/Sound Treasure label.A thousend cd's were made, but the actual sales numbers are still unknown.Due to lack of motivation and other reasons (such as Oskar and Fredrik having to submit to army duty) the band took a long break in 1997-1998.In the spring of 2000 the band reunited, and became Random Rope . This time their music changed, from progressive to a more straightforward power-rock sound.A promo CD has been recorded and the future is yet to come.
