Artist History
Drago formed early summer of 2000 out of the ashes of a now defunct rock band called homefield advantage. We started it off just by writing songs in our spare time when were bored. Joel ( drummer of homefield ) switched to vocals, nathan our good friend and guitar guru plays the axe, and Nick ( guitar and vocals for homefield ) switched to the drums... We started with 3 songs and nathan would have a new song each practice... Joel and Nathan would secretly record these songs and then just randomly pop the tape in when I was around I thought it was pretty damn good so I was down with playing bass for this project... We started getting on some basement shows and kids really seemed to like us.. some time went by and we lost our friend and drummer nick he decided to move to georgia... So the status of the band was in question... We forged on and good friend Jonny Mirro ( formerly of rock band Angels in the Architecture, and the Budgets ) picked up the slack where we needed and we continued polishing our sound alittle we started to get on some bigger shows thanks to our good friends in the hardcore scene...Just recently we were told that Nick is planning on moving back to buffalo and rejoining the drago killing machine and we can't wait till his come back. We just finished recording a 6 song cd e.p. and that should be out on Alone Records very soon.... |
