Artist description AXEL FISCH Born in Switzerland, Quebecker resident and Brazilian at heart, Axel Fisch is a guitarist and composer considered as one of the hopes of Quebecker jazz. He started to study in 1978 with Christian Graf, in Geneva.In 1983, Axel Fisch begins the professional course at "L' Ecole de Technologie Musicale" in Geneva, where he will also be a guitar teacher for 4 years. Axel Fisch has studied composition and arrangements at "G.I.T.-Guitar Institute of Technology", in Los Angeles, U.S.A. After his first album "L'Enfant Lune" recorded in Québec, with great partners, Axel Fisch is gone to Brazil, where he got the opportunity to record 5 musical pieces of his second album. Called "Agua com Jazz", this album features excellent Brazilian musicians as Toninho Horta for the guitar and Guello for the percussions. From an inventive style of elegance and modernity, strongly influenced by a universal climate with Brazilian alternatives, Axel Fisch expresses music from the bottom of his soul.
