Artist description
The album, SPINNERBAND, is a collection of contemporary instrumental electronic music with jazz, rock, and funk influences. All selections on the disc were conceived, composed, performed and recorded by The Producer. The compositions were played on musical keyboards by The Producer and captured using a MIDI sequencing software application. The final versions were recorded in real time onto a stereo tape recorder. The music was then digitized and prepared for CD using a digital sound manipulation program. Although the actual instrumentation varies from title to title, only electronic keyboard and drum machine devices were used to create this music. No acoustic or electro-acoustic instruments are used on this collection of music. |
