Artist description
Young swedish band average age 28 with widly differing musical backgrounds - from Bunk Johnsson to Louis Prima, from blues to funk. But above all,it is the New Orleans revival style which has given us the greatest inspiration, and it is this kind of music that we now specialize in.Considering our young age - three of us were born in the 70's - we are pleased that many distinguished jazz artists have been willing to play with us; forexample Roy Williams, Orange Kellin, John Barnes, Phil Mason, Norbert Sousemihl, Kenneth Arnström and Pauline Pearce. Our hope is that we can continue transmitting our joy in playing and, coupled with our musical talents, originality and our tender years, keep the NewOrleans music alive, because as we all know - this kind of old music isn't composed anylonger... |
