Artist History
Patient Martyr’s six members area all native to Elyria, Ohio, and five are graduates of Elyria High School. The bands history began in the summer of 2000 when Matt Sprague (bass), Matt Downey (percussion), and Craig Hamilton (guitar) parted ways with their previous band, and ventured off into a new musical direction. They added Nick Price, into the mix to provide the powerful vocals they were looking for. Shortly after, the group added second guitarist , Ryan Downey, who's songwriting skills added yet another dimension to the multifaceted collective. In winter 2000, the band recruited ex-producer Guy Wolford to play keyboard and cover backing vocals. |
