Artist History First instrument, after comb and paper, was The Harmonica, belonging to an uncle, it tasted of "Woodbines" and old coins, then a tea chest, broom handle and string were procured by Mum, "Skiffle" was born. A violin was eagerly supplied by an uncle on Dads side, his sons weren't very musical!!!?, lessons were enrolled in at Grammar School, I was then banished to the front room!!!. After Dads passing, whilst I was at college, again with much help from mum,the "never never" arrived, a Vox guitar and Selmer amp were purchased,I was banished to the shed!!!, I then joined "Nick Venom and the Vampires", somewhere warm to practice!, me doing impressions of a Vampire rhythm guitarist and "La, La " singer. That was the very early 60's, being in the then swinging Great Britain, I joined the Royal Navy, to see and play around "The World", great experience. Many guitars have folowed, mostly with the help of Mum, even in the year of her passing, 2000, help with enrollment fees to The Guild, God bless you Mum and all you people who over the years have always helped, God Bless......
