Artist History Entire Holland is being overwhelmed by the mega top 100. Entire Holland? No, a small group has the courage to stand up against it. Where? In Oosterhout for example, with the punkband No Hoodlums on front. No Hoodlums? This band started to play in June 1997. After a few personnel changes the current formation was formed. In the beginning they played covers from Sick of it All and other bands. But very soon they started playing their own songs. In No Hoodlums' music you can hear influences from bands such as Bad Religion, The Exploited en The Sex Pistols. No Hoodlums doesn't fit for 100% in the punkscene of today, because they merely play 'old school chaos' punk. The lyrics deal with issues such as racism, senseless violence etc. The band gives a lot of energy on the stage, as you can judge from the enthusiastic public and the pit. No Hoodlums recorded their first demo pretty late (February 1998). This demo has now been sold over 60 times. On 29 January 1999 No Hoodlums recorded their long expected (live)demo, which has been sold about 90 times now. Today, No Hoodlums has released their first CD on OSS Records. They prove once more that punk's not dead!!
