Artist History Sangoma Ray (singing and guitar) the catalyst of thisevolution. lived in South Africa for the first twentyyears of his life and thus grew up with racial conflictas an everyday occurrence. Having lived during andafter the apartheid years, he was acutely aware of thepolitical and social differences keeping the variousraces apart and could not understand why music shoulddo the same. This inspired Ray to embrace his multi-cultural roots and start the Gray Race Evolution.
