Artist History F13 orginated in 1996. Like all bands start, we were a cover band. After a few gigs we realized we were closing the door on ourselves. there is only so much a band can do when they are playing other people's music.Soon after we began writing orginal material under a new band name, (fallout-our first name) combining lots of kinds of music. We were looking for our sound, we weren't really sure what kind of music we were.Eventually we got a few new members and a new name(failure 13) . We then began looking more intensely for our sound. We found it with our current lineup.seth frye-BASSWill maravelas-vocals, guitarmatt linse-guitar, vocalsJosh rumsey-drumsWith each members seperate influences effecting the final outcome, we feel we have created a heavy sound, that we all enjoy playing and listening to.We like melody,intensity, and raw power. we try to incorporate all in our music. Come see us sometime and find out for yourself what we sound like and who we are.We have been fortunate enough to play with some great bands. The biggest being ISLAND/MERCURY RECORDS artist's FULL DEVIL JACKET, OVERCORE/ROADRUNNER RECORDS artist's THE WORKHORSE MOVEMENT, and MOJO/UNIVERAL artist's FACTORY 81. and hopefully many more will be added to this list in the future. We recently signed up zerobudget records here in lacrosse.
