Press Reviews Dreaming of the Fifth is featured on the first half of the disc. Yeah, it's indie rock that fans of SDRE's Diary and Mineral are gonna dig, but don't have *that* (you know what I mean) sound. Do5 tends to be more rhythm-oriented, though they rely more on a groove than stop-starts. And yes, Brad Watts works up to a scream now and then, but it doesn't sound contrived at all. A refreshing thing about Do5 is that they don't feign angst and aggressiveness for the sake of living up to a label or trying to place themselves into a certain sort of moodiness. While it has a few desperate moments, this half of the split is mellow and while sounding heart-broken, is at least nice about it. - the vagrant cafe
