Press Reviews
Despite the drug undertones of the band's name, the members of New Jersey based CHINA WHITE say that's not why they picked it. Trying to come up with something, members of the band were playing some random word association. For no real reason the two words stuck. The result is people who go to their gigs sometimes get the wrong idea. When not working full time jobs, the band manages nearly 100 shows a year. CHINA WHITE produced a self titled EP in 1991 and followed it up with a single of "All I Want For Christmas" in 1992. Their early work led to the release of "Confessions" , a 1994 album. - Brian Hughes May 17 1995 |
