    Artist History
Formed 2000, but have all played together & in other outfits...Feather is our principle star...shining from her years in Sundiata Marimba Band...99/2000 saw zenmango birdwoman fly to the heights of 4 or 5 awesome gigs, starting with our first at 1999 Nimbin Mardi Grass Festival to 500 free & frantic souls celebrating the festive season...winter and spring of '99 brought the journeys of seven beings from all over the world into one entity...this culminated in a great nite at Coorabell Hall near Byron Bay, a double bill with the legendary Earth Reggae...celebration filled the evening..."Wings of Colour" was written and recorded in this time to support the local blockaders at the Timbarra Goldmine...the band united now with Jesse on 12 string and Sophie on flute, we scored a gig at a wonderful festival held by the council of Gosford called The Belong Festival...a short but well lived dream of a planned tour is enacted by rehearsing in the paradisical environs of Bellingen NSW, living & breathing the music together...then driving another 500kms to Gosford...rain shorted out the stage lights on the first nite but the electricity continued into the second day when we played to a packed room of groovey life lovers...thanx to the Brackets'nJam crew in Sydney...2000 has brought much health & prosperity to our members...shall we see the eagle rise from the breaking new dawn???...Spirit whispers...this music shall never die...
