Artist History Formed in 1989 as "The Funky Persian Band".... Primarily a studio project, with a couple of performances in Southern California. We were only able to lift this project off the ground thanks to the continuous support of our friends. There are many of them out there, most noteworthy of which are Ali Farahmand, Saied Jonoubi, Nazy Mehdizadeh, Shahrzad Sharif, and Ali Manshouri without whom it would have been impossible to make this into a reality. –
