Artist description This site exists to feature music created by artists who have mastered Yamaha's incredibly versatile and intuitive SU700 sampler. Why a site that exists around a product? Because this product brings together so many elements of the DJ's chops and personality that it has become almost a genre unto itself. But as you will see the results are anything but homogenous. In fact, I bought the last one at the Hollywood Guitar Center - at a third of the price - they told me it was because the units weren't selling due to the fact that nobody could figure out how to use them: people just want machines that make it easy, that spit out ready made drivel so that they can try and turn a fast buck. The SU700 draws on your knowledge of mixing, sampling, beat matching, melody, style, edge and innovation. Believe me, when you see someone who has mastered this box at work you will be convinced.
