Artist description STEPDOWN is a hardcore/metal band from Central Pennsylvania. Their musical influences include; Pantera, Machine-Head, Unwritten Law, Mudvayne, NoFx, AFI, Deftones, and Soulfly. Other influences range from movies such as; Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, Orgazmo, and Half-Baked. STEPDOWN is five individuals with different backgrounds but the same love of intense music. Each of them channels their pain and angst through thier instruments. They speak out against the poisons of society.

Artist History STEPDOWN started with Tom and Shaun giving method to madness. They began to place riffs together giving the foundation to what would be STEPDOWN's future songs. Tom and Shaun both knew that their intensity was unique. They began looking for a band. They found Jay-sUn moZey to fill the drum position. Then Cheeze became the lead-vocalist. Several practices went by and in June they finally found Grove to fill the bass position. STEPDOWN's lineup was finally complete. Gigging regularly was the next step and they began to win over crowds in the Altoona area. They are looking forward to playing shows out of state.
