Artist description Apes in Space is a band that combines straight acousticsounds with poetic Folk-Lyrics and melodical electric Guitar-Soli in their music. It´s the going back to the roots of the guitar with many dancable heavy-rhythm parts. The band has finished her first album "We´re landed" and is working now on the second album "Now we leave the ship" and some gigs or a tour.

Artist History In July 2000 the band was founded bythe guitarists Sebastian Kreutzberger and Johannes Oppitzas an southern-states-folk-rock-band. In only 2 months a wholealbum was composed and recorded : "We´re landed".After the going away from Johannes, Sebastian took Hendrik Hirsch and let the band awake again. Kristina Franke became singer and various drummerswere tested. At this time some songs of the album"We´re landed" were taken to play, but new songs were written and played, too and can be found onthe next album "Now we leave the ship".
