Artist History NeRien had his first recording with the South African group The Amandla Poets, on their first release. He then worked with the funk group Thickness, which later released a c.d. as Diego - San Francisco Dream. Currently he is works occasionally with the West African group Kotoja, and with the improvisational world jazz group, Warm Water in Berkeley, California, at the Berkeley Dance Jam.
