Artist description
Originally from St. Catharines Ontario, Mark began playing at age three and performed publicly for the first time at age five. Players such as Steve Gadd, Elvin Jones, Terry Clarke, and Mark Kelso have inspired Mark to dedicate his life to the percussive arts. Mark is now twenty-six years old with twenty-three years playing experience; his approach to the drums and percussion have taken him musically through Canada, the USA, the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Asia. In 1998 Mark completed a nine month residency at the Tropicana Showroom, the largest concert hall in Atlantic City NJ. During which, he acted as drummer/conductor and assistant musical director for the show "Danger", which was the longest running house show of its kind in Atlantic City history. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Degree in Orchestral Music Performance, he has gained much practical experience as an orchestral musician. Mark now lives and works out of the Toronto area. Mark Inneo plays YAMAHA drums. |
