Artist History
David Shaw is an experienced actor and natural story teller. He was born in Penzance, Cornwall and ran away to seek his fortune in mainstream theatre. After performing in most repertory theatres around the country and appearing in various TV dramas such as “Poldark”, “The Onedin Line” and “Wycliffe”, he returned to his native land to explore his roots and create The Cornwall Theatre Co. Recent work includes the moving portrayal of Ben Thomas in “Dressing Granite”, a role especially written for him. He now concentrates on his story-telling and is currently working on his next CD called “Raggedy-assed Kids” an account of his growing up in Cornwall in the 1940’s. |
