Artist History Everything began in the May of 2000.Two different personsgot acquainted with each other: CJ Fly and Nikolay Lebedev(composer and singer).On making the first song , it becameclear that it lacked a woman's voice.And Katya Gubenkobecame the 3-d member of the project.Her melodious voiceand natural manner of singing was the exact thing needed.

Group Members Katya Gubenko:She is the face of the group, the person observed and listened by the audience.Some people think she lacks sexuality,but without sayingKatya's melodious voice and natural manner are her bestfeatures.All these helps the songs sound disent.The smallcity star and avery hard working girl Katya has all the chances to become a profesional.And she believes thatmusic has come into her life for a long period of time.Nikolay Lebedev:He has been interested in musik since his childhood.Nikolay went in for differentmusik clubs and finished music school (piano department),and then growing older became a member of a Rock group.Since that very time he began composing and singing.LaterNikolay made up his mind to give up the group and compose his music using computer.While learning how to operate thecomputer he took part in different music festivals and compe-titions.Acquaintance with the owner of ''Bee Records'' studioRoman Galushkin helped him to enter the world of pop music.In this studio 3 tracks were recorded with different musiciansof the city (including project ''Kael''). CJ Fly: Before becoming a member of ''Variant K'' hehad worked as a DJ in clubs and as a of such programs as ''Dance Party'' and ''Disco 2000'' of ''Puls radio''.With the help of ''Bee records'' studio he released 6 albumsof dance music.CJ Fly has been a member of all Taganrogdance actions for last 4 years.He makes the music of ''Variant K'' sound modern and clublike.
