Artist description Tommy Cougar is a blues and blues/rock slide guitarist from Stockholm, Sweden. He comes from a family with musical roots that reach back to the early 18th Century.He grew up listening to R&B and rock records as well as listening to his family playing and singing at home.Tommy is a self-taught musician whose styles range from Mississippi juke joint slide to searing Texas blues/rock. Tommy has made appearances in the Austin, Texas music scene and he particularly enjoys his many friends and fans in Austin. When at home in Sweden, Tommy is a frequent performer at many of the great Scandinavian blues festivals. He has also made numerous appearances on Swedish television.
