Artist History All members are originally from the infamous border town of Laredo, Tx. The band got together in 1996, although all members have been in and out of projects with each other for about ten years. In 1996, the band relocated to Austin, TX in hopes of taking the music a step further. Today, The Blimp is well known in Austin and are going into the studio to record our second album.
