Artist description
Maddrum Soņando's groove is rooted in the traditional rhythms of the Caribbean islands of Cuba, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo as well as Brazil. There is also a Latin funk boogaloo influence which blends the traditional rhythms with R&B/funk styles. This makes it possible for the band to perform more current material, giving younger audiences the opportunity to hear and dance to the Latin beat. |
