Artist description
He is one of the leading christian keyboard player and producer in Jamaica. He does gospel music on diverse rhythms. i.e. classical, ska, reggae, jazz and dancehall. He produced "The Extra-Ordinary God" which won the Jamaica Gospel Festival 2001. It was sung by Nicole Robinson. He operates his own recording studio and music school 'Denrush Productions'. He has opened concerts in Jamaica for both CeCe Winans and Kirk Franklin and co-produced songs with Ulanda Innocent. His group 'Dennis Rushton & Friends' is the first Jamaican gospel group to be featured on BET jazz channel. |

Artist History
Dennis Started learning music at age 9 but took it up as a profession in 1993 and has not looked back since. He has performed with many of Jamaica's leading musicians and singers and has been featured on B.E.T.'s Jazz channel many times. (Broadcast audience est 135 million - Europe, West Africa, The Carribean, USA and other parts of the world). He was formally trained as a classical concert pianist but his emphasis is now on Jazz. He has played at most of the major jazz venues in Jamaica including Mutual Life 'Jazz in the Basement', The Grogg Shoppe (Devon House), The Hilton and Pegasus Hotels in Kingston. His music has even been used in Commercials in Jamaica. |
