Artist History
On a cold sunny day in 1964 at the Shady Hills Home for the mentally impaired, an eccentric young R&B artist, MC Wittgenstein, bumped into an old schitzophrenic named Vasily Vasolenkovapetrovoigorodagmarovich. Although neither could speak English, their combination of grunts and rhythmic incantations allowed them to communicate successfully. Although their bond was never one of friendship, they took it upon themselves to record their rancorous attempts to kill each other. Both musicians are convinced that they are the greatest artists in the history of the universe, although neither is capable of tying his own shoes or using the toilet under his own power. Wittgenstein has thought he has killed his (Ukranian?) friend on a number of occasions, having poisoned, stabbed, gutted, quartered, hanged, dynamited, drowned, electrocuted, and driven over his friend numerous times with the hospital's ambulance. Despite these inconvenience, Vasily appears to be immortal, surviving only on a diet of 6 packs of menthol cigarettes and a bottle of Wild Turkey every day. Wittgenstein, a former part-time nutritionist, despises his musical counterpart with a contempt that has not been seen since the times of Nebuchadnezzar. Vasily, on the other hand, appears to have no emotions. Abortion Candy is not a name they created on their own. It is actually a chant one of the other inmates, known as Palido Squalido, screams whenever he sees the two artists in the same room. Thus, Abortion Candy. |
