Artist History
Whether it's been on a JJJ hard-rock compilation or an easy listening jazz ensemble, William Lebihan has been treading the music industry boards for years. His brand of song-oriented pop is proving to be a favourite around the country as he woos audiences in anticipation for his debut album in mid-2001.Starting out in Brisbane heavy rock band Pharaoh's Playground as a teenager, William released two EPs, Forked Tongue and Latitude which received support from JJJ including the inclusion of Forked Tongue on their "Eleven" compilation. Pharaoh's Playground were well received with touring around the country and interest from many facets of the industry.Other projects have included the adult oriented pop group Waiting For Mark as well as a string of sessions for other Brisbane musicians. In 2000, William left Pharaoh's Playground to pursue his solo career. He will be playing gigs and demoing for the album for the remainder of the year before launching an assalt on Australia in 2001. |
