Artist History
Andy has been performing since the age of 14 and has been in many groups over the years, most recently TheTin Roof, a band he formed while living in the US Virgin Islands '89-'92. The music on this web site that is in BAND format is The Tin Roof. All the other material is Andy's solo project. The original TIN ROOF was formed in 1992 with much success right from the start. They held sponsorships with major companies, and by 94-95 they were semi-finalists on STAR SEARCH. They disbanded in late'95 though, and Andy spent the next few years writing a tremendous amount of new material. The group was reformed with new drummer Randy Morrow in late '99 and they have spent that year rehearsing and rebuilding a huge fan base in a short time in their home of Atlanta,Ga. Andy's solo project" Echoes of Eden" has put the Tin Roof on the back burner for now. Go to the web: Amazon.com and search Andy Easton |

Group Members
Andy Easton: song writer, 6 & 12 string acoustics, piano and lead vocals. In the TIN ROOF I have had the priviledge and pleasure of playing with some of the finest musicians on the planet. The first bass player to enter the Roof at it's inception in "92 was Don Cerlanek Jr., I have never played with a better bass player.second Don Hacker took his place in '99 and he also is tremendous. third in '00 was Tom Buford, I must say, Tom is a great guitar player and had great stage presence. the Roof has seen two guitarists and two drummers. Steve Richman, the first guitarist helped form the first incarnation, Steve Whitworth took his place in '00 and I still work with him today. Both of these guys rock in thier own way. Whitworth's edge is undeniable though. drummers: first, third and fourth slots go to Curtis McNeese. Stellar. Curt was the reason I decided to put the band together in the first place in St Thomas USVI where we all met. He rejoined the band in '00 after my second drummer Randy Morrow got an offer he couldn't refuse to tour the world and ALSO be a Nashville session player. Curt also helped me fill up the space on my solo CD "Echoes of Eden" with awesome vocals and once again stellar percussion. |
