Artist History
RedEye Factor’s roots can be traced back to guitarist Edgar Campos’ hot, mosquito-infested and cluttered garage in the suburbs of east side El Paso in 1992. Julio Samble, Edgar, and for a brief time Mike Saucedo were playing in the OR Band, which was a cover band. This band went through a barrage of lineups. The band had a good run, but life’s priorities sent everyone in different directions. Finally, in the summer of 1998, Julio and Edgar decided to dedicate themselves to original songwriting. Meanwhile, Mike was in the band Sift out of Alpine while attending Sul Ross University. Sift played college bars across Texas as a cover band, where Mike was the lead singer. Eventually, after one year and a half of tireless auditions for another member to round out the band, RedEye Factor found the right man in Mike. As Julio put it, “He was heaven sent!” The band gelled together in January of 2000 to officially form RedEye Factor. Since then, this Progressive Alternative Hard Rock band has spread the word to anyone who will listen... |
