Artist description Montreal's RECYCLOR: Spoken Word Depravity vs. Low-Fi Ambient Noise Soundescapes. Our name comes from the fact that we use other people's sounds and samples, re-designed, re-edited, and in essence, re-constructed for our own means. After all, if some big name well-known commercial rap artists can rip off 1980s pop music and get away with it, perhaps the noise community should do the same. RECYCLOR mostly uses their own sounds, with some infiltration from other outside sources. Imagine elctronic drones built from electroacoustics and musique concrete. The true nature of "noise", without the non-stop barrage which more often than not gets on people's nerves. Watch for upcoming releases on WRECK AGE RECORDINGS.

Artist History Created in 1999 by Lx Wheill and Frank Zen (Mars). Belgium label Sub Factory Four Laboratories was supposed to release compilations with RECYCLOR tracks, but we never heard back, so we are going to re-release these tracks on upcoming full-length releases and collectors-only limited E. P. cassettes.The truth of matter is Frank and Lx have wanted to collaborate for ages, but time and real life always prevented it to happen (and still does!). The whole reason the project began in the first place was because of various compilation appearances... which never happened!A total of 7 pieces were encoded and uploaded to this MP3 page. If less than 7 pieces appear when you load this page up, then don't blame us! We did our part!
