Artist History Paul Jackson "Black Octopus" was recorded during the Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters’ 1978 tour of Japan. The album was recorded direct to disc with a very limited number released on vinyl. Platform will now exclusively release the album with four bonus tracks, available for the first time ever on CD. Paul started his music career by playing with Little Anthony & The Imperials, Bobby Hutcherson, Woody Shaw and Vince Garaldi. Paul is a founding member of the legendary Headhunters and was co-writer on the classic "Chameleon."
