Artist History <u>Ever So Good</u> started after our old band "The Fallback" had broken up, mid September of 2000. <br><br>Since September, Marcus Perry ( Lead Vocals, Guitar ) has pulled out his song book and started going over old songs and coming up with catchy new ones. Ever since the break up of his last band, "Bank Of Brian", Marcus has wanted a canvas to oil up with his own catchy brand of "<u>Rock</u>".The influences of his music pan from left to right. Everything from being in love to feeling lost in this world, have been captured lyrically and musically by Mr. Marcus Perry.<br><br>In late May/ early April, The Fallback decided to bring back their old guitarist, Lucas Perea. Lucas, a skinny, teenager with a bad hair cut and a soul for music was ready to rock. Lucas studied the art of jazz for 4 years in high school and has earned the ranking of a talented bass player. Towards the end of August, Lucas picked up a bass and started pulling off all these jazz scales, all improvised. The bass playing caught the attention of Marcus, who was on drums. The first Marcus / Lucas jam session must have went on for 30 minutes before the rest of the Fallback came back in started rockin' again. On that day, Lucas pretty much won his seat in the band later to be known as "Ever So Good".<br><br>The band was almost complete now, lacking a drummer the band sat around. Marcus would record demos on to his computer and send them to Lucas to listen to. Towards the end of September, a drummer appeared out of nowhere, his name.. Zill. We finally had a complete band.. So we thought. By this time, the Fallback was pretty much over for now. We had some practices around the begining of October, but sighting artistic differences, Zill was knocked out of the "drumming position". We are still currently drummer less .<br><br>Late December of 2000, Marcus and Lucas went to play some Demos for Marcus' old band mate ,Kyle. Kyle (who runs a recording studio) listened to the demos and liked them. Kyle has hopped on to the drums for our recording session.. and the story continues.
