Artist History
Reaching a musical Rock Bottom in 1993, R.K. Small and J.L. Leach, climbed out of the mire by goin' back to the basics. Sitting in the living room, playing the guitar and mandolin, brining together the pop, jazz, blues, and metal soundscapes of the past, they realized they had something new. Of course, things got much more complicated. Attempting to discover the emotions long repressed by intellectual overstimulation, DagNabIt was born. The apogee of this process, was their first CD; "The Hard Drivin' Sounds of..... DagNabIt". Proclaimed alternatively to "sound like crap" and to be "the greatest modern American musical statement yet fixed on media" "Hard Drivn' Sounds" has something for everybody....Traditional Pop, Acoustic Ballads, Experimental electronic soundscapes, Inspired instrumentals, and Hard Core Mountain Music. Then came...."Chaos Eros Chaos". The boys abandon traditional pop song structure and go for the intellectual/emotional jugular. An amazing amalgalm of acoustic and electronic sounds, with a intensity that sets it apart. Please Listen. Our Lives Depend on It. |
