Press Reviews
The music of BOO to some extent follows the legendary Dunaj sound [Dunaj was a very famous Czech band playing in all Europe also with Iva Bittova] because the guitarist Josef Ostransky and the drummer Pavel Koudelka used to be members of the Dunaj band. The rhythmical pressure and exactness are increased by the cello of Andrea Konstankiewicz and the wild performance of violinist, guitarist and singer Christoph Pajer, who can be also heard in the Austrian band Metamorphosis. The different possibilities to change the instruments enable the band to offer a wide spectrum of sounds, especially because of the rhythm group (bass-drums, cello-drums, cello-bass) can vary. The music of Boo is very compact and may leave a strong emotional impression on the audience. For the reason that it is hard to put the music of Boo to some predicted drawers of musical styles, the group calls itself Boo-pop. |
