Artist History
Hey. I'm Moe from The New Victims... We're a crazy, high-energy, six-piece punk ska band from West Chester University of PA. We formed as a band about 2 years ago when we all met in the dorms at school. (We're between 20 and 24 years old) We write songs about our experiences, our beliefs ("Skateboarding is Not a Crime"), "The Scene," to just random sh!t that we feel like writing about. With a wide base of influences from punk...ska...punk ska...emo...to even big band...The music always stays diverse. T.N.V. has been rockin' with our own brand of punk ska, but with strong influences of: Slapstick, Less Than Jake, Rancid, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, The Suicide Machines, to Bob Marley. We've played shows with a variety of bands and styles. From playing at larger venues with national and Canadian touring bands from playing basement show, we just enjoyed getting out and playing wherever we can. T.N.V. recorded a 12 song CD titled, "It's Your Life" at Creep Records' studio. Several of the songs have appeared on various compilations, including "Skateboarding is Not a Crime," "The Scene," "Bawdice," "It's Your Life," and "One More Beer." In addition, the CD has also been getting airplay at various college radio stations during their punk and ska programming. If you book shows or know anyone that books shows, we are looking to fill some holes in our schedules for the next few months. So if you could help in one way or another, it would be greatly appreciated. Just drop us an e-mail at our address at the bottom of this letter. If you have Napster, you could check us out on there, or at our website at: |
