Artist History Plato Township takes it's name from a town that once existed along a railroad north of West Branch, Iowa. This collective of artists has attempted to capture part of the spirit of this place as it existed and after it was plowed under. The four current members met on the campus of Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids Iowa, and have been creating sounds together in different forms since 1996.
