Artist description
Hello and welcome. I am a middle-aged Longshoreman and Folk-Singer whodoes not believe that the Corporation as we know it today represents in any waythe final stage of human evolution. I picked up a guitar when I was twelve yearsold and used the long shadows of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie to shademyself from the lunatic glare that Republican Conservative politics blazed overme most of my adult life. I do not accept that Ronald Reagan was a great "communicator." I do believe that " Dutch," and others like him, used theirpolicies to insinuate the acceptance of Corporations into our system like atape-worm, and it is past time to pass it on through. As you might expecttherefore, I offer my music with no copyrights or other restrictions. The songs areall my own, and I include a fervent wish that they be spread, copied, and sung byall or any who feel as I do that the only way to be truly honest in our society is tospeak truth to power, and to keep on speaking until power listens. Please feelfree to contact me. I would love to hear from you, and as any honest Corporatespokesman ( an oxymoron if there ever was one) might tell you as he or she isannouncing the closure of your neighborhood factory, pending it’sre-birth in some Third World country, there’s a lot more where this comesfrom. In Peace and Solidarity,Harry Stamper |
