Artist description The FUNK SOUL GROOVE's main objective is to create a setting for creative, artistic, intellectual professionals from all walks of life. This concept was designed to give unknown and emerging artists an opportunity to be presented for this particular genre of music. The FUNK SOUL GROOVE features up and coming Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Urban R&B, Spoken word and acid jazz artists. We are making it possible to help create a new and unique club festival with the main focus on live music and the open mic movement. The FUNK SOUL GROOVE will be one of the first tours and compilations to showcase new and unknown talent in the Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Spoken Word and Acid Jazz, Groove genres. Each artist's name and website will appear on the CD. In addition, we will construct a web page for each featured artist on FunkSoulGroove.com with the link to this page also appearing on the compilation CD. All chosen artists will receive 25 complimentary copies of the CD. The purpose of the Funk Soul Groove Compilation is to promote the best artists of the underground music community and bring them into the spotlight. The Funk Soul Groove compilation CD will be distributed to colleges, radio stations, record stores, online vendors, as well as film & advertising agencies across the nation.
