Artist description
Centered around Jeff Nordstrom's songwriting sensibilities, The Fairfax Mission explodes each song into a rough masterpiece of Peace. The Fairfax MIssion is completely aware that their sound is far from professional, but these songs were recorded as gifts for the family for Christmas, not even as demos. We hope you enjoy the songs in spite of their aural inadequacy. |

Artist History
"The Fairfax Mission" has come to be Jeffrey Nordstrom's pop project. For the Christmas of 2000, they released their first "fundisc," which was recorded and mixed in four days. For 2001, Jeff recorded another lo-fi CD, this time with 18 tracks and a fun synthesizer. Jeff's not entirely "proud" of the recordings, but these are just a means so that he can hear the songs apart from himself, to see if they have potential. |

No press; these songs have never been "released" (thank the LORD). But, here's what some of The Mission's friends say:
"You're so melodramatic.... You sound so pitiful." - BP
"What's with the synthesizer?" - JR
"Sounds like a movie soundtrack." - SH
"I like that 'mansions' song" - lots of people.
"If you only had a producer and some patience." - RM |
