Artist History singer/priestess suzanne sterling formed bhakti to support the release of her first solo cd (also entitled bhakti) The seven member band has toured all over california playing festivals, raves, temples, yoga studios and all manner of alternative and sacred venues (one of the highlights being the World Festival of Sacred Music hosted by the Dalai Lama in 1999). Their performances are devotional, ecstatic and transformative, often incorporating elements of sacred dance, devotional poetry, fire twirling and ritual and inspiring audiences to participate in joyful celebration.
