Artist description
Sly Letter is a thick blanket of acoustic rock rhythms - an acoustic rock band with an edge. Mandolin and percussion complement the traditional four piece lineup of bass, drums, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. Two singers trade off on lead and fill out the songs with strong harmonies. Sly Letter has the two things that make a great band: good songwriting and a unique sound. Tell us if you agree and check out more stuff at http://www.slyletter.com. |

Artist History
Sly Letter started as an acoustic duo in College Station, Texas about 2 years ago. They gradually added instruments, including mandolin and percussion, to find the sound that defines them. Their debut CD 'These Autumn Skies' was recorded shortly after all six members of Sly Letter came together and proved to the band that they did indeed have a really good thing together. Since then Sly Letter has been playing all over Texas, gaining a strong following wherever they go. Their experiences have recently culminated into great shows in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX, and musical appearances on MTV's show Undressed. |
