Artist description
Once described as Mr. Bungle meets Ministry, this band has taken everything to the sickest, most demented levels. Hard, driving guitars, extremely distorted vocals, and hilarious sampling. A little bit of jazz here, a little bit of death-metal there, this project uses every musical aspect known to man to create a diverse sound matched by on-one else. One word could describe this project : TWISTED. |

Artist History
PROSAIC is, and always has been, wild industrial music driven by the insanity of sleep deprivation and extreme amounts of caffeine. Born in the early nineties, Prosaic began as an adolescent rock fantasy, that gradually took on a more sinister form. The combination of hard driving industry, and an immature sense of humour make Prosaic a project that can't be traced to a single source. Drawing from jazz, rap, metal, as well as the typical industrial repertoire, Prosaic melds a sound seldom heard - (unless, perhaps you are a Zappa fan...) - Biting young, teenage, male comedy is readily added to serious programming. You will not hear a love song from Prosaic, no siree bob!.The listener can hear a vast repertoire covering such bizarre topics as:- A desperate plea to Richard Gere to leave the loving confines of sexual gerbil use, and return to the lovely Cindy Crawford.- Explore the dark world of an overweight sado-masochist with a taste for Flamenco.- The implications of hiring white trash to teach public school.- A discussion (in German) as to why one can't use the word "juicy" to describe the breakfast of law enforcing champions, doughnuts.- Self introspection by a colostomy patient.- The lurid tale of a teenage boy who finds comfort masturbating to Hot Rod magazine in his local grocery store.- The justified ire towards Rorschach Test, who screwed Xerxes, Decompression, among many others.- Both oral and anal flaggalence.- Poets, and how they should simply can their rhetoric and get a clue.- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a biting gentile criticism of their "Family Home Night."- Exploration of the fun of sticking dining utensils in electrical outlets.PLUS....- FRENCH DEATH METAL!!!- CANNIBALISM!!!- SHAKESPEARE!!!- And last but not least, FILET MIGNON!!! ( Eat my leather shorts, you vegetarians!)Prosaic, in its nearly six years of existence, has released four albums to date. We have spared much expense in bringing this to the consumer. Only the highest standards have went into recording these masterpieces. ENJOY. |
