Artist History Love Muffin was founded in September of 1995 with the founding members being Gabe on guitar and vocals, Steve on bass, and Jay on drums. After three years and three tapes of less than acceptable punk songs, Jay's hippie, drug addict girlfriend made him quit.He quickly fathered a child got married to this girl and is now divorced. Jay still maintains contact with the band and helps in booking shows. Replacing Jay on drums was the bass player Steve. Replacing Steve on bass was Kristy. This lineup lasted about six months and a couple of shows until Steve commited some unlawful acts and was incarcerated. No one was really surprised. Some claim the music drove him to do it. Since Steve was languishing behind bars and attempting to not drop the soap the band needed to replace him. Replacing Steve on drums was Nick, a friend of Gabe's that played guitar in a band that shared the stage with Love Muffin a time or two, Derf. Derf broke up because of one member who believed that he was the illegitimate child of Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson. This left Nick free to join Love Muffin as a full time member. This lineup has been the same ever since.Love Muffin is a punk bands that dabbles in some metal influences, writing songs about such things as: serial killers, junkies, dead babies, burnt out hippies(Jay's ex-woman), espionage, spies in 7-11, smuckers jelly, video games, random acts of idiocy, bestiality, religion(their own religion is called muffinism), Kevin Bacon, revenge, mind control, surfing and wet dreams.Love Muffin is able and willing to play anything as in the past they have played empty roller rinks, redneck birthday parties, hillbilly graduation parties, sports bars, arabian night clubs, back yards and their very own basement, lovingly referred to as Muffin Manor. Love Muffin is currently gaining in popularity amongst skater punks and the Michiana underground. They are enacting their plan for global domination the likes of which has not been seen since Michael Jackson.
