Artist description
JP Stingray is a talented and versatile guitarist and singer/songwriter from the Netherlands. His 1996 blues/rock CD "Blues Stringer" was recorded in his own studio and contains 15 original songs. On this recording, JP plays several different styles including real Texas shuffles, slow blues, and ballads. The CD is dedicated to Stevie Ray Vaughan and JP's first guitar hero, Rory Gallagher. The song "Goodbye Hurricane" was written in memory of Stevie Ray. JP has also recorded rock and country music and has just released a new blues/rock CD "Road to Oblivion". |
