Artist History The band formed around 4 to 5 years ago, orignalyknown as Terra Ferma. After different line up andstyle changes, the original bassist(ben boyle), drummer(dave morris) and guitarist(adam shipway),got back together and with the help of chris eganon vocals formed inwardzhair in the summer of 2000.The band since have started gigging and the fan baseis increasing all the time.

Press Reviews FORCE 10 GIG REVIEWSInwardZ HaiR/Freebarabas/Newtons Cradle/KIckDOWN November 30th 2000 The Hideaway TorquayIn this tiny venue Hidden away in the Backstreets of Torquay a huge crowd Await to see Local Metal Hero's Kickdown and popular Alt rock trio Free Barabas. a new young band Inwardz Hair play there first ever gig mutters from the crowd is Oh god not another bunch of kids trying to be the next Deftones basicley no one is ready for what is about to come b4 them next.Inwardz hair Fronted by local boy Chris Egan as he and his crew take the stage a small crowd of freinds gather in front of the stage as the band come in with there opening track the nicely titled "Skinny Cunt" with a very punky intro a few heads turn by the time the young egan is into his first set of roars the small crowd slowly becomes a bit bigger and the pit explodes as the song reach's a close this small club has turned into one giant Pit with arms and legs everywhere with waves of crowd surfers. the track finish's and the whole venue is shocked that theese kids have pulled this off on there first gig but more importantly there first track. Inwardz Hair's sound is different original and quite possibly unreal. it's basicly get the energy and noise of Deftones + the punkyness of classic Offspring add a bit of Earth Crisis and your about half way there boy i cant wait for this band to record. the second track Bungy Jump is even more energetic and exciting as the first track and yet again cause's the place to erupt Only downside to Inwardz Hair was the shortness of the set Due to the band only forming recentley. A 5 song set was all we saw and that was including covers as well. The band our now working hard to write new materiel so that the Second assault will be Twice as good as the first.KickDown have owned the Torbay Scene for years and it's only been over the last 6 or so months that lots of new talent has appeared on this ever growing scene. The Band are Oldskool in everyway the whole band is influenced by the likes of Maiden Annihlator Slayer Judas preist etc. and they look like roadies from the 80's back in all the above bands Hayday's but what Kickdown do have that the others dont is there great mix of Old Skool POWER METAL and Nu Skool Hardcore Grooves there More of a live band. There Recorded stuff sounds like most of there hero's were as the live stuff does just what they say and mix's both Old and Nu. Tonite Kickdown down are on fire with a great great set one of the main disappointments was the fact that they did'nt pull as big a crowd as Inwardz Hair but there Track of choice GRIDLOCKED proved that Kickdown are still about on the scene and are ready and willing to take on this new breed of west country Noise that is Launching attack on them from every corner with new bands appearing on the scene every week some are proving to be great opponents for the mighty Kickdown we will just have to wait and see Well Check out www.Kickdown.co.uk if your interested in taking a gander at theese roadies from Hell.RATING: 5/5:PURLEY FOR THE FACT OF INWARDZ HAIR YOU HAVE TO CHECK THESE GUYS OUT AT ALL COSTS.
