Press Reviews His dad did it, now it's Dusty Deaton's turn. Dusty has been playing the guitar and writing songs for quite a while. His dad Eddie Deaton is a professional musician and former Capitol Records recording artist. Guitars have always been within pickin' distance around the house. They didn't sit around long before someone would pick one up and belt one out. Dusty has recently been performing in and around the Dallas area. He's recorded a new CD demo which features three new songs he's written. His ambition is to write and perform songs that are marketable, but still maintain the traditional country styles that make country music "Country". The Texas "Country Music Songwriter" market is alive and well. More great artists are coming on the scene everyday and Dusty Deaton has the talent to play an integral part in the Texas singer/songwriter movement.
